One of the things I miss most about the gym is being able to load a machine heavy and fail around that 6 rep mark. Although we can keep home workouts intense and incorporate methods into our training that allow us to hit failure sooner, it's not the same. However, unless people can invest in expensive machinery then we will have to make do with what we have at the moment. One thing so consider when going back into the gym once all of this is over is loading movements. After a long period of not training like this you don't want to be going back into the gym trying to hit numbers you were hitting before. This will increase your chances of getting injured especially if you have been training with limited equipment. You may also want to go for a training split that offers more rest days as your recovery may take a hit.
